Logo Design

Brighton Winter Fayre

I’m very happy to have created (and animated) the logo for Brighton Winter Fayre – coming December 2024 to St Peter’s Place!

The Brighton Winter team wanted it to look “Brighton”, so the seagulls were a must. The event is right in the beating heart of Brighton, so that was an obvious choice also.

Island Site Protective

I was delighted to be invited to help design the logo for Island Site Protective.

Here is the original sketch, which represents an “Island Site”, next to the finished logo, for which I drew on Harry Beck’s iconic London Underground Tube map aesthetic.

Alongside careful font selection, replacing the character ‘o’ with the logo’s circle in Guardsman Red, next to Midnight Blue for the other characters, has successfully given the company’s branding a unique but recognisable flavour.

Here are some print examples of the elements in use:

“As a new business, tapping into Ben’s creative ideas has been a massive help. He understands what great design looks like and guides you through the process. Importantly he listens to your ideas and translates them into an end result to be really proud of. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ben and would happily go to him again.”

Logo Animation

Global Crowd Management Alliance (GCMA)

I was so excited to be asked to support the launch of GCMA that one of the first things I did was to animate the distinctive company logo.

A later variation of this animation incorporates a lens flare, highlighting the organisation’s global scope:

Logo Animation: Select Security & Stewarding Ltd

As a gesture of my appreciation to Select Security & Stewarding Ltd for being such an awesome client, I recently gave their famous company logo the motion that it’s arrows had been suggesting for over two decades:

I’m always on the lookout for creative opportunities to add dynamic brand flavour to the issue of the day… eg:
